Happy Monday!

Okay, so here’s the deal.  My kitchen needs a major makeover.  The problem is that I’m renting so I need some non-permanent updates.  So, after hours of admiring kitchens on Pinterest, it hit me… GOLD!  I know, my obsession with gold continues, but in all seriousness, I’m convinced that adding gold hardware to my kitchen cabinets will make all the difference.

To prove my point, I’ve compiled 11 (I couldn’t stop at 10) of my favorite kitchens that show off some lovely gold hardware.

Today we’re in the kitchen. Often called the heart of the home, it’s the place where families gather and meals are made (or in my case, heated in the microwave).

Lately, I’m seriously intrigued by white kitchens. Whether they be pure white-on-white, or incorporate tonal creams and grays, here’s a collection that I absolutely love.

In reading one of my favorite blogs, I came across this image and had mixed feelings.  I loved seeing all of the beautiful vintage pieces and the storage space looked functional, but I was left wondering if there was just too much going on.

Series: Venice Garden & Home Tour – Kitchens

On day 5 of 7 in the Venice Garden & Home Tour Series, we’re braving the heat and heading into the kitchen. From cheery to serene, these kitchens would inspire even the least domestically inclined individual to get to cooking (at least that’s what I told my husband).

Here are the top 4:

Poppy mint-green makes cooking a dream

Who can complain about washing dishes with this view?

Sleek and shiny with a pop of color

If you have to stare at a wall while cooking, paint it orange with contrasting green bamboo planted in front 🙂

What’s Next? Tomorrow we’ll see how to bring the art world home.
