I must admit, I’m totally that person who starts listening to Christmas Carols the day after Thanksgiving and I don’t stop until Christmas Day (or in some cases, New Years Day).

I have many a preferred holiday song from Mariah Carey’s “All I want for Christmas” to  Josh Groban’s “Oh Holy Night”, but my absolute favorite of all time that always gets me in the Christmas spirit is Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song”.  And that, my friends, is #4 on my Countdown to Christmas list.

In my book, Sundays are made for lounging… except during the holidays when they’re made, of course, for shopping. But that doesn’t mean I can’t fit in a little pampering, which is why I’m treating myself to a mani today.

For many of us, a key way of getting into the holiday spirit involves watching some good-old Christmas movie classics.  Which brings me to #16 on my Countdown to Christmas list… my favorite holiday movie of all time… Home Alone!  It’s been a family tradition for the last 20+ years to watch Home Alone on Christmas Eve while wrapping presents (and maybe a couple of times before then too).  It always does the trick of keeping me motivated to wrap the plethora of presents resulting from my shopping addiction (and procrastination) 🙂
