Well folks, it’s Monday again. Personally, I am in denial… hence re-visiting my fabulous Puerto Rican vacation. I showed you all of the fabulous colorful architecture last Friday, and now here are the rest of the pics.

Well… I finally got around to downloading the pictures from our Puerto Rican vacation. It’s kind of nice when you wait a few days because it gives you some time to reminisce on the great time you had and the fabulous sites you saw. In this case, I was reminded of all of the beautiful and vibrant colors that infuse the city of Old San Juan… and today, I’m sharing those with you! Enjoy!

Well, it’s Monday again and I couldn’t be happier. Why, you ask? Well… the fam and I are en-route to my second favorite city in the world (NYC) for work, and then off to Puerto Rico for play.

I’m super excited for the much-needed vacation. Working full-time during all day and then blogging at night takes quite the toll.

For the second installment of Interior Style Passport, we’re headed to Los Cabos, Mexico. Not only is that where I went on my babymoon, but it seems like a fitting revisit given the upcoming Cinco de Mayo holiday. We got the chance to stay at two fabulous hotels while we were there, and today we’re taking a closer look at the One&Only Palmilla.
An absolutely lovely hotel with great views and lots of authentic details (plus great restaurants), I invite you to wanderlust with me…

In addition to my love of shopping, decorating, fashion, crafting (which I’m not very good at), DIY projects, eating, and spending as many moments as possible with my family, I also L O V E to travel. It all started when I was 17 and my grandparents (Homer & Ruth♥) sent me and my cousin to Europe for 2 weeks as a high school graduation present (lucky us!). I’ve been smitten with traveling ever since and continue to travel as often as I can.
Every once in a while I get to stay at a pretty nice hotel, so I thought… why not share some of the beautiful spaces with you. So, as promised here, I’m starting a new series called Interior Style Passport.
To kick things off, I’m taking you back to Maui.

I must admit, I’m suffering from a little vacay withdrawals right now… last week we were in Maui for 7 whole days, and it was wonderful. Keira did great (although we didn’t so much appreciate her waking up at 4:30am the first day… yikes).
Maui is such a beautiful island, and we had a great time. Great weather + delicious food + gorgeous views… what more could we ask for.
So just to make you a little jealous 🙂 … I’m sharing some of our vacation pics

It’s officially babymoon time and I’m so excited! Cabo, here I come. Not exactly you’re typical Cabo vacation… no tequila shots or margaritas… but I’m still excited for some warm weather and pool time. We wrapped up our Italian vacation in Venice. It’s such a fascinating city where Medieval and Modern times meet… with the added bonus of boats replacing cars… what a life!

We spent our last day and a half in Rome immersing ourselves in the pope’s country (really, Vatican City is its own independent country in the middle of Rome). There was so much to see and learn. I thought I’d share a few highlights.
The ornate bronze canopy over the alter in St. Peter’s Basilica (St. Peter’s tomb lies 23 feet below the marble floor)
A fountain in St. Peter’s square with the basilica in the background and light streaming down from the heavens (literally) 🙂
Side view of an intricate (and massive) fireplace mantle in one of the bishops apartments inside of the Vatican… I wouldn’t mind having one of these in my house
