Okay, so after many months of promising to share pics of Keira’s nursery, I’m finally doing it.  I’m super pleased with how the room turned out. Between a couple of splurges, quite a bit of bargain hunting and some DIY projects, I was able to complete the space and come in under my $3000 budget… hooray!

I wanted a room that was feminine but not too girly or young.  The color palette consisted primarily of various shades of pink (but NOT pink walls), white, grey and gold as that perfect sophisticated accent.

The wall color (Mauve Morning by BEHR; The Home Depotcreates a calming ambiance that really grounds the room.  Surprisingly my husband picked the color (well, he selected it out of the 3 swatches I put on the wall).

Here are details on some of the key products in the room.
